Kodama Koi Farm - Terms of Agreement
1. ALL SALES FINAL
Your bid is an agreement to purchase an item if your bid becomes the winning bid for a Koi. Cancellations of winning purchases are at the sole discretion and approval of Kodama Koi Farm. If a winning purchase is cancelled, a 20% restocking fee will be assessed.
2. PAYMENT
Payments must be completed within 3 business days (Monday through Friday) starting on the day after the end of each auction. For example, if the auction closes on Sunday, payment must be received by Wednesday. If the auction closes on Wednesday, payment must be received by the following Monday.
State laws require companies to collect sales tax from residents shipping merchandise to states where the company has established offices. Kodama Koi Farm has the office in Hawaii, California and New Jersey; we are, therefore, required to collect sales tax when orders are shipped from Kodama Koi Farm to Hawaii, California and New Jersey.

Canada
Kodama Koi Farm is also required to charge 13% taxes and duty on orders sent to Canada. In addition, a $10 Bond Fee and a $16 OGD Processing Fee will be charged to all koi shipments to Canada.
3. KOI HEALTH GUARANTEE
Prior to shipping or pickup, your Koi's health is guaranteed for up to 14 days at no cost to you. If anything should happen to your Koi within the 14-day guarantee period (i.e. illness and/or death) prior to shipping, a refund will be given. No replacements will be made.
We do our very best to keep your Koi in good and healthy condition until shipment. We will not be held liable if anything should happen to your Koi after the 14th day. If a Koi becomes sick or dies after its 14-day health guarantee period, Kodama Koi Farm will not be held liable, and no refund, store credit, or replacement will be made.
NOTE: The free 14-day guarantee period starts the day after the auction ends. For example, if an auction closes on Wednesday, the first day of the 14-day guarantee period starts on Thursday.
Upon receiving your Koi, your Koi's health is guaranteed for 24 hours.
If your Koi dies, becomes ill or injured within the guarantee period, a photo of the Koi must be sent to info@kodamakoifarm.com. A refund or store credit may be awarded at the sole discretion of Kodama Koi Farm.
4. SHIPPING
Combine your Koi shipments to maximize your savings on shipping costs. During the 14-day guarantee period, bid and find companion Koi for your shipment.
If you are not able to arrange for shipping within 14 days, please contact our office by calling 1-(808)-354-7031. If a Koi becomes sick or dies after its 14-day health guarantee period, Kodama Koi Farm will not be held liable, and no refund, store credit, or replacement will be made.
NOTE: Each Koi of a winning bid has its own 14-day health guarantee. The health guarantee period is not extended by purchasing another Koi. If a Koi becomes sick or dies after its 14-day health guarantee period, Kodama Koi Farm will not be held liable, and no refund, store credit, or replacement will be made.
Refunds and store credits do not include shipping costs.
Kodama Koi Farm is not liable for damages to the box and/or koi due to shipping. However, we will do everything we can to assist buyers with their claim to the delivery provider. Kodama Koi Farm recommends that buyers purchase shipping insurance.
5. EXTENDED HOLDING FEE
If a Koi is held by Kodama Koi Farm past the 14-day guarantee period, a holding fee of $25 per Koi per week after the 14th day will be charged to you.
