Description: Nagoshi Koi Farm is a third-generation koi breeding farm located just outside Niigata Prefecture. Led by Mr. Akihiro Nagoshi and his son Masaki, the farm is renowned for producing exceptional Gosanke, as well as a variety of other stunning koi such as Asagi, Hikarimuji, and Kawarimono. Each spring, the farm releases an impressive 2.5 million fry, carefully nurturing them through the growing season to harvest approximately 3,500 koi of outstanding quality in the fall. A 2+ hour drive to their farm is definitely deserving for those seeking to experience the art and passion of koi breeding firsthand.
