Thank You, Robert H. – A Pond Built with Love and Purpose
Thank you for sharing your journey with us as we celebrate 25 years of Kodama Koi Farm.
Customer Story By: Robert H.
“We live in the northeast Georgia mountains. I built this pond three years ago for my disabled wife to enjoy and relax next two. It started as a small 8×8 x 5 foot deep round shaped . But it became a labor of love.
As you can see by the pictures it’s now 12 by 30 5 foot deep at the deep end and 2.5 feet in the shallow end. We have upgraded to a oase 24000 screen matic with and oase 4500 pump. We saved up to get a few Japanese koi it took a while but we finally got one the one fish my wife always wanted a doitsu showa in picture but after we received it we discovered it was sick with a bad bacteria infection and ask the dealer how to save it and was told that’s to bad but nothing she could do for us but would be happy to sell us another fish.
I have spoken with a few other dealers and they could not believe someone would say that about a fish they sold. I have been saving but hopefully in a while I can get my wife a new one. If I could say a good thing came from my wife being disabled it would be that we found the love of koi they do make he smile. Someday I hope to have a dainichi koi.
Thank you Robert H.“
