Kawarimono
Kawarimono are nonmetallic koi that do not fit in to a class of fish like the others do. This broad variety of koi are all extremely unique and special, and each unlike any other. They may have black or white bodies with markings of various colors throughout their body, head, tail and fins.
How to Judge Kawarimono
Kawarimono, although their own large class of fish by their individuality, complete wonderfully in shows. There are many fish like Kumonryu,scaleless black koi who change colors constantly, and Hajilro, a black koi with white fins and tails that are in the Kawaimono group of koi.
